The Lonely Planet website is fantastic. For every country there’s a COSTS link which lists the average price of a beer, tourist t-shirt, mid-range hotel, etc. Also listed are average daily budgets.
go to http://www.wotif.com.au and you can get some bargain prices last minute deals. Meals vary such a lot. I always take fresh fruit and a packet of biscuits or similar and extra coffee with me. an average meal is about $20 but you can pay less or more. References :
