Hot Air Ballooning is a magical experience and a flight with Ballooning Canterbury offers panoramic views across the fertile Canterbury Plains to the Southern Alps. The balloon flight is for approximately 1 hour, followed by a light snack with champagne or orange juice in the paddock where we land. Ballooning is best a sunrise, when the weather is calmest and can make the most of the beautiful morning light. You need to allow approximately 4 hours for this experience from the time of pick up to drop off.
