Upon completion of your tour you will return to The Shires™ Rest.

Your tour starts with a drive from the Matamata i-SITE through picturesque Waikato farmland to The Shires Rest. The bus will then drive you through the 1,250 acre sheep farm with spectacular views across to the Kaimai Ranges. Your guide will escort you through the twelve acre site recounting fascinating details of how Hobbiton Movie set was created.
